Development Program

We are teaching the game of baseball on the field one position at a time. If you feel like your son is struggling with learning the game of baseball, this is the perfect program.

The development program is for players age 12-14 who are looking to grow and learn their skills within the game.

The fact is, most players aren't getting better or learning much at practice. The reason being, is that practice is a time to work on the skills you've already learned. Unfortunately, a majority of players still have so much to learn that practice begins to become a reinforcement of only a handful of skills while neglecting the big picture.

While practice is important, it typically doesn’t offer much value from a developmental standpoint. It’s difficult for coaches to take the time during a team practice to break down the specifics of what to do, how to do it, and why, for an individual player, while the rest of the team waits for practice to continue. The purpose of this program is to take that time to explain, so players can learn and actually improve on a per-practice basis.

What we’ll be doing: Our goal is to pick apart a different skill set within baseball to focus on, improve, and understand each area of the game. Monday may be a ground ball-focused day while Friday may be a day of hitting. We’ll touch on each skill and then circle back to reinforce and build upon those skills in a later session.
